This stinky ba%^#@rd speaks loud and confuses American people a lot with out giving the clear picture of broken legal immigration and with out mentioning the pain of long waiting legal immigrants. Multiple PERM applications can be filed if the employers are different.
I am planning on filing a new PERM as a prospective employee of a consulting firm and also have a PERM filed simultaneously from my current employer..
Has anybody had any experience with this kind of situation, Are there any complications? would this be feasible...pls suggest...

Yes I have done recently ( Last week)
I went to France consulate and all they wanted to see was my EAD so if you have Valid EAD u should be fine

To add to what logiclife said, even if you were to apply for a change of status, make sure your friend has been in the US for more than 60 days. If you apply for a change of status to H1B within 60 days of coming here, then it will deemed by USCIS that your intention to travel to US was to find a job and that you committed a fraud when you applied for a B2 which is a tourist visa. So if you apply within 60 days then USCIS will surely reject the application. It is true for almost all visas if you happen to apply for a change of status within 60 days of arriving in US.

I used AP first time to enter. I had to go thru 2nd inspection where I was instructed to sit and after 15-20 mins, I got my AP back with stamped. I had applied for H1B visa also in India and it got stuck into 'administrative processing'. After extending my stay by 1 week, my employer/attorney suggested to use AP to enter. I did not had any issue @SFO POE even though my visa application is still under 'administrative processing'.

Yesterday I came back from Vancouver after 4 day visit, using 30 day rule. My visa was expired but I-94 was still valid. CBP officer at Vancouver airport didnt create any problem. He looked at my expired visa on my old passport , my new passport and current I-94 date on I-797. Thats it. He even wandered why my old I-94 was still attached with old passport which no1 bothered to take out while I was going out of USA. So he took out old I-94 from expired passport and put a new I-94 on new passport. Thats all. He didnt bothered to ask my job letter, work details , company name etc.

Depends on what you are looking for and what your priorities are:
1) Ask what work you will get? Ask to speak with the team members of the team you will work with and get your role clarified.
2) compensation. How much $$$$ they are paying more wrt current position or wrt other offers you may have in recent future.
3) As someone said correctly, get to know the work culture and the team make sure you don't end up being chained to work.
The advantage is that you can rise quickly (not much competition) & stable job.
So see whats important for you.

Can Current letter be from new Co.(u switced to using AC21) and Future Employment offer leeter has to be from teh Orig Spnsoring Employer???
My I140 sponsor is not my current employer. That's why I had to furnish both current employment letter and future employment offer letter. I have not changed employer as yet though.
If you invoked AC21, I believe you are right, you would have to furnish employment letter from your current employer and offer letter from the orig sponsoring petitioner.

It is not possible to save any information on PDF forms if need to correct anything later..
Any idea how to save data on all the forms...
No..I tried all options..even hacking pdf security, print-to-file etc.;) . I left those pdfs open in my laptop and I never close my home laptop.

My wife had Henna on her hand when she went for her FP. The officer asked her did not take her finger prints and asked her to send that letter to their office by mail for re-scheduling the appointment. She sent the letter and got another appointment within 40 days. No problems in the second appearance.

Merge all these threads into one - at least 3 or 4 people can take charge over the thread - the first few posts can be updates and tracking info and finalization of drafts and plans
Please encourage ONLY members who are committed, they can be ones who have posted real profile and who have joined state chapters - usually state chapter members are verified members.
It would be great if someone from IV core can also guide on such efforts

What if a person has active TB and is currently being treated? Doctors are saying it will take 9 months to complete the medication.
Q1. Do we need to wait till 9 months to apply for I140 and 485?
Q2. When will the medical records be opened and monitored? is it when my 485 is being processed or before giving EAD?
Q3. If doctor says we have TB on the form, will i be queried by govt to get it checked again, or will i be rejected?"
You should have no issues and your case should not be denied based on Medical grounds read more on the following

Eligible for 3 years if I140 is approved and you can't file I485 because of retrogression. But you said , you had already filed I485. I doubt you are eligible for 3 year extension.
