I simply want to keep my voice plan the same and choose the new M2M. The M2M feature shows up under our family unlimited messaging thus I was assuming and hoping the voice plan rollover mins would remain unchanged.
I didn't lose any of my roll-over minutes. I have ~1200 and am on the 450 individual plan.

I will say something about SPRINT. First off, that article is WRONG!
Baltimore, Maryland is the 1st SPRINT test market for 4G, but it's not even mentioned in that article! I know so because SPRINT is actively advertising it and it's been in other press reports. So how many other test markets did they miss in their alleged comparison of 4G vs. 3G I wonder?
Um, all of them, I guess. That test was carried out locally, since the local city, at that time, provided "4G" from the 3 tested providers. I'm not sure why that would be a problem for you. The only issue I have with it is that Tmob is not tested to cover all 4 national providers, perhaps that wasn't up and running in Detroit at the time. You seem to be contradicting yourself here... You say you hate notes.. But suggest it's "equally" as crappy as Exchange.. Then you admit that the CAL's are actually cheaper then Exchange... From your reasoning it would seem that makes notes better by itself. Your listed items are meaningless so I won't address them..
Some advantages to Notes....
the server runs on many platforms (Windows, Linux. iSeries, etc...)
The client runs on many platforms (windows, linux, mac) or you can just use a browser...
REPLICATION... Say it again. REPLICATION.. What does this mean? You can replicate a database to other servers or desktops/laptops. That's really nice to have if something happens to your hardware... It's not clustering - Notes has that too... So the same database can be on many servers if need be or you can take it locally and work with it off-line.. I don't know a microsoft technology that would let someone take a CRM application on the road.. make updates to the data while off line and put it back on the server later.. And it doesn't matter if it's one person or 100 people doing this. Maybe Sharepoint can kinda do this now - I truly don't know - But notes has been doing this for over 15 years... Not bad..
That's just a couple advantages..
Oh one more thing...;)
It's nice getting new versions of the server on a regular basis that actually improve performance on existing hardware. What's Microsoft do? force Exchange users to 64 bit servers....
It takes us longer to download a server update then it does to install it.
I agree that Domino holds many advantages over MS. My complaints are mostly regarding the Notes user interface. It's crap, plain and simple, even on the MS platform. It's just really flakey. Not a day goes by when Notes doesn't crash on at least one of the desktops I'm working on, Mac or PC. it's just really annoying to work with.

You can connect an external USB HDD to the Time Capsule and use that for new backups. This keeps the backups currently on the TC intact and allows room for expansion.

I'm debating. I actually am within my 30 day window of having bought a Black iPhone 4 (had to switch corporate phone line to personal liable plan). No way I would pay money just to switch colors, but I always wanted a white iPhone. I think I'll mosey to AT&T, see how it looks, and if I like it and AT&T will swap, I'll get it.
I really like the black iPhone as well, so either way I'm happy.

Laptops and desktops run the same exact OS. There are no apps that are made specifically for a laptop or desktop. There are iphone apps that wont run on an ipod touch. There are ipad apps that wont run on an ipod touch or an iphone. If they were the same OS then that wouldnt happen.

AT&T has always wanted to increase prices across the board whenever they have a product that is going to sell well
They never give an actual answer as to why thus it is pretty easy to see that they are doing it strictly to get more money and little to do with actual increases in costs.
