Battery life in 4.3 and 4.3.1 has been noticeably worse than in previous versions of ios. As measured by my iphone 3gs. Stock device, not jailbroken, not unlocked.

Maybe as a workaround, you could move the "index.htm" file from the root of your CD into the folder (and rename the index.htm in the folder to something else), and put a new file that (only) automatically sends you to the index.htm in the folder (this page shouldn't have any content, only a simple redirect to the index file in the folder). That way you don't have to mess with moving up in the folder tree. :) Unless, of course, you have multiple folders and need to point to "index.htm" in each .. then this obviously wouldn't work. Is this the issue at hand?

I'll keep you updated. Currently I'm working on getting my 10 WU's in under my passkey (at 7 right now) and after that I'll shift the i7 iMac over to -bigadv to take advantage of the pts bonuses and then we'll see what it can really do. Hopefully some big PPD. I'm folding under the name 206pilot.

I like to listen to podcasts while im playing sc2 and alot of my podcasts are video's. Is there a way in itunes to play only the audio of the video podcasts (so the video isnt running in the background and potentially slowing my game down)?

I have a factory unlocked iphone 4 and whilst on iOS 4.1, I became aware that when I installed gyroscope apps, they don't work. When 4.2.1 came out instead of solving the problem, my compass also failed. Both my gyro and compass don't work anymore... 4.3 came out still the same problem..

Now that 4.3.1 came out the accelerometer also failed!

Thank god I save my SHSH blobs since I restored back to 4.2.1

Shame on you Apple!!

I just want subscriptions on my iPad and the main point is, whether you agree or disagree with Apple's opt-in policy, this is still a major sticking point with many publications. Of all the magazine/newspaper apps I use on my iPad only 2 have adopted the new subscription policy. NYT was one of those but I deleted it because those prices were insane. I just want subscription options from Wired, Popular Mechanics and Sports Illustrated. I don't care about Apple's policy, I don't care if the publisher gets my info or not... I just want subscriptions!!!!!! I have stopped and will never pay another $5 per issue for anything on the iPad. Subscriptions or nothing!

Apple + publishers - just get it worked out, I don't care how, just do it!

There are no print ads. Thus its extremely difficult to accuse someone of bait and switch. Sites like macrumors and slickdeals are doing all of TJ Maxx's advertising for them. Brilliant.

Yes some marketing guy at TJ gets a few coworkers to go to the local Apple store (Or maybe Walmart) and they buy 100 iPads and sell them at a $10,000 loss. They get more advertizing that way them paying $10K to an ad company. This gimmick is dirt cheap, cheaper then just one newspaper ad.
